How many days in advance of my trip should I ship my luggage?
Our service provides same-day bookings in numerous regions, and if it's accessible on our website, we're ready to accommodate. The majority of our clients at My Cruise Porter prefer booking two weeks before their travel, enabling them to choose our most cost-effective shipping rates. For those who prefer to plan early, we welcome reservations as far as 180 days before the pickup date.
What if my cruise line or port is not listed on the site?
No worries! We offer luggage transportation to any cruise line, anywhere in the world. If you don't see your specific cruise line or port on our list, please contact our live-agent customer service via chat or phone at +1 424-484-2456.
What am I allowed to ship?
The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) has various requirements that restricted what may be packed for air transportation. We advise you review the below link to be updated with federal regulations. https://www.faa.gov/hazmat/packsafe.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes, we do! If it’s in our control, we will refund your money. A few items to note outside our control is weather events, regulatory custom clearance, shipments with prohibited items, natural disasters, war, and mechanical issues.
Do you provide luggage storage?
Yes! Our My Cruise Porter storage facilities at each port are a key feature of our service. If your bags arrive early, you can take advantage of luggage storage for no extra charge until your cruise ship is ready for luggage boarding.
Can I ship if I am not the traveler?
You may use our services even if you are not the traveler. When making the arrangements the booking will show you as the contact party. If you would like to have that changed please contact us at +1 424-577-4656 in the United States or +353 21 204 0200 in Ireland and we’ll update the information as you communicate it to us.
Preparing
Do you provide luggage tags?
When you set up an account we will immediately send you two luggage tags just for joining our community. If you book a shipment and haven’t set up your account we will be providing your tags via a courier service.
How do I receive and assemble my shipping label?
Your shipping labels will be emailed to you or you can find them in your account on our website. You will print your label and assemble it on the opposite side of the My Cruise Porter logo in the luggage tag provided.
Can I modify my luggage tag?
Please do not ever modify your luggage tag or labels. If you need to modify your label please call our team at +1 424-484-2456 in the United States or +353 21 204 0200 in Ireland to help assist with changes.
How do I change or cancel a booking?
We can accommodate changes that may have occurred since placing your booking. Please contact us and speak to our live personnel at +1 424-484-2456 in the United States or +353 21 204 0200 in Ireland since time is usually of essence.
Is it okay to lock my luggage?
When traveling domestically you should lock your luggage. This protects the integrity of your goods and will not void your right to file a claim for missing items. When traveling internationally between countries your luggage must be unlocked for inspection if selected for review by custom agents.
Do I need to put my luggage in a box?
No, there is no requirement to box your luggage. You can pack it as you typically would for a flight without any extra packaging. For golf bags, you can find helpful tips on securely packing your clubs for safe travel in a How To video on our homepage.
Transit
Is my presence required for pickup?
No you do not. The majority of our community will leave their luggage outside their home in a covered area properly labeled.
Weekend pick-ups and delivery options?
Our quoted rates are for Monday through Friday pick up and delivery. We can arrange for any special weekend or evening requests you may have.
Can I ship one way?
Yes! When arranging your luggage booking you can select one way travel instead of round trip.
Can I drop off my luggage?
We have multiple locations that are available and work with you to try and identify the most convenient location based on where your luggage is domiciled for travel.
Are there specific locations for luggage pick-up?
You determine where it’s the most convenient for you luggage pick up. Our community of customers use their residence, their office, golf clubs, hotels, cruise ships, and even airports. The easiest pickup is directly from your single residence where you are able to provide access to your luggage via your front door. However, there are many of us who live in apartments, in a gated community, and other situations where it’s a tad more complicated. Our teams work with you when you can communicate special arrangements need. While creating your booking please let us know how best to receive your luggage and we’ll coordinate appropriately.
What happens if a missed pick-up occurs?

Delivery
Tracking my luggage?
At time of placing your booking you were provided with a reference booking number and sent emails with your tracking information. You can sign in to your account to see your order and tracking history as well.
What delivery date should I choose?
We always recommend having your luggage scheduled for one day prior to your expected arrival. To help assist for unforeseen circumstances having your luggage scheduled three days prior is the maximum we recommend.

International
Must I have customs forms?
Anyone shipping between international borders must execute cross border clearances. Our systems and staff will assist you with all the information necessary to smoothly identify your goods for export and or import declaration.
Account
Can I view my travel history?
You can view your complete history of booking by selecting your account in the navigation menu. If not a member, please join our community of no stress travelers.
Resetting password
Sign into your account in the drop-down menu. Then select “Edit Profile” on the menu screen. On the Edit Profile page, select “reset password” Create a new password and select save.
